BIG NEWS As part of the Hawaii Department of Transportation’s (HDOT) $2.3 billion Airport Modernization Plan, gates are now designated with a letter followed by a number. Former Interisland Terminal is now Terminal 1 (Gates A & B) and the former Overseas Terminal is now Terminal 2 (Gates C, D, E, F & G). Former Commuter Terminal is Terminal 3 (Mokulele Airlines) located at the Diamond Head side of the airport at 3073 Aolele St. In August 2021, the opening of the Mauka Concourse added 230,000 sq. ft. to the existing 600,000 square feet of Terminal 1.
